Brugge: A Photo Montage

I find myself in a marathon of sorts, as I race to complete my Belgium blog before I leave tomorrow for my half-marathon in Helsinki and then head to Copenhagen.  I don't know what is worse, rushing to complete this, or putting it off and risk that I may forget (or never do it).  Our trip to Belgium was another vacation filled with unique memories.  I think these "pictures are worth a thousand words."

366 step climb to the top of the Bell Tower

All smiles on our 3 hour bike ride, second half of which was in the rain.

Not all smiles for the first half,  but all smiles for second half, which was in the rain.  Ahh! The trials and tribulations of traveling with kids.

Beautiful "Madonna of Bruges" by Michelangelo -the only outside of Italy

I will never forget how beautiful and peaceful the night sky looked.

Our first horse carriage ride!
Lane inspecting one of the old brew drums at De Halve Maan Brewery.  Great beer, great food, and a fun tour!

The Chocolate Line.  Skip Godiva and go here!!!  The best chocolate in the world!!!  Crazy flavor creations like "Cuban Cigar" and "Bacon"  Don't knock it til you try it!
